SANTIAGO
Santiago, un conquistador, contemple avec Esteban, son amant, les trésors pillés au Nouveau Monde, alors que leur île brûle derrière eux. À bord, ils partagent un moment tendre avant que la lune ne devienne rouge et qu’une étrange statuette dorée ne s’illumine. La cabine secouée, Santiago cache son trésor pendant qu’Esteban lui tend une épée pour affronter une menace. Ils découvrent leur équipage massacré et une créature serpentine menaçante. Santiago combat la bête pendant qu’Esteban prépare une barque pour fuir. Alors que la créature fonce vers la cabine, Santiago sacrifie Esteban pour distraire le monstre. Il saisit un pistolet et tue la créature d’une balle en pleine tête.
Ignorant le cadavre de son amant, Santiago retrouve son trésor, soulagé, à bord d’un navire en ruine dérivant sur l’océan.
